  Nike have suspended their relationship with Manchester United striker, Mason Greenwood, after his arrest on suspicion of rap£ and assault.   Greenwood, 20, was detained on Sunday January 30, following the circulation of distressing pictures and audio on social media, which alleged he attacked an 18-year-old student.    The disturbing images appeared to show the woman bloodied and bruised.  In the purported voice recording, the footballer was heard forcing his girl to have sex with him.   In the wake of the allegations, Nike - the world-famous sportswear giant - released a statement stating that they were 'deeply concerned'.     Now, it has been revealed their connection with Greenwood has been put on hold.  In a new statement on Monday, Nike, who sponsored Greenwood, said they had “suspended our relationship” with the footballer, as reported by the Athletic.   The statement read: 'We have suspended our relationship with Mason Gree...

  Twin brothers have been arrested for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government of Anambra. The Executive Director of Davina Care Foundation, Mrs. Rachel Yohanna, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday January 30 in Awka. Yohanna said the case was brought to the foundation by the mother of the victim, Mrs. Benedict Sunday, who is also a nurse. Yohanna said the alleged crime was reported at Abagana Police Station on Jan. 16, and the suspects and their mother, Mrs. Chinwe Okpe, were arrested. According to her, the suspects, Chukwuemeka and Chukwuebuka Okpe were children of the caretaker of the house where the victim lived and had been continually harassed for her refusal to be defiled a second time.   A video of some "stranded" boys who were searching for where to learn yahoo-yahoo (onlie fraud) has gone viral.  The boys were seen being queried by a man whose gate they knocked at in an Edo community. The boys who are between the ages of 14-16, told the man that they “want to hustle”, which they clarified to mean yahoo-yahoo (online fraud) and not yahoo plus (online fraud+rituals). They further revealed that they were sent out from where they were staying. When asked about their parents, they said their parents are in Delta state.   The Lagos state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has warned members of the Ijaw Youth Council and other aggrieved Nigerians against protesting over the outcome of the investigation into the death of Dowen college student, Sylvester Oromoni. Recall that on Thursday, January 6, members of the IYC staged a protest in front of Dowen college. They rejected the report by the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution exonerating all five students and three housemasters arrested over the death of Sylvester. The protesting youths vowed to occupy Dowen college if the school is opened without "justice being served" to the Oromoni family.  Reacting to the protesting, the state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, at a press conference on Friday, said the protesting youths and any other Nigerian dissatisfied with the outcome of the investigation should go to court to seek redress rather than resorting to self help.
